State Nature Conservancy headquartered in Banská Bystrica and State Forests of the Tatra National Park with registered office in Tatranská Lomnica have concluded a cooperation agreement. This agreement covers cooperation between the organisations at the level of nature and landscape conservancy and was concluded to develop and expand cooperation between State Forest of the Tatra National Park and Tatra National Park Management at the level of nature conservancy and care for forest and non-forest ecosystems in the Tatra National Park. Cooperation primarily involves:

• - Consultation and cooperation on the creation of conceptual and implementation documents (management programs, visiting rules and forest management plan)
• - Research and monitoring (exchange of information, databases and the condition of the natural environment)
• - Practical management of protected areas and species (counting, monitoring animals in the field, monitoring and protection of large predators, birds of prey, chamois and marmot)
• - Training, education, promotional and editing activities
• - International cooperation
